The line‑up of the group, founded in 2023, brings together four musicians firmly rooted in the international scene: vocalist Antony Hämäläinen (Nightrage, Armageddon), guitarist Kostas Sotos (Mystic Prophecy, Crystal Tears), drummer Márton Veress (Orgy, Armageddon), and bassist/rhythm guitarist Nic Svensson (Slaves For Scores, Swede Studios). TIL THE END is their shared vehicle to pay tribute to the legendary Gothenburg sound while simultaneously pushing it forward with modern energy and a contemporary artistic vision.![]()

Denn die sechs Stücke sind abwechslungsreich, spröde, voller Gitarrenideen, vollgestopft mit Breaks und Kicks, die im Wechselspiel rückkehrender Motive wirklich Stücke aus den Stücken machen. Der Doom bekommt seine Barm-Zeit und wird von Görlichs Lust am Doublebass und den aufgebürsteten Gitarrenparts zu gegebener Zeit zur Seite gestellt. Langguths Gesang überbrückt die Parts oder verbindet mit längeren Harmoniebögen die Fragmente, hält somit AVERTAT in dessen Ideen sehr gut zusammen. Manchmal jedoch hat man den Eindruck, muss der Gast gegen dieses Gewitter wie ansingen, um sich Gehör zu verschaffen. Trotzdem. Beachtlich gutes Debüt, die Herren. (Mathias Freiesleben)![]()
