It’s important to note that lacquers are currently produced by only one Japanese company, and as they are materials that cannot be stored for a long period, they must be constantly supplied to the pressing plant straight from the distributor to ensure their quality. Therefore, the cyclical weekly deliveries we have been receiving are now disrupted.��This issue affects all the European pressing plants at the moment.��As you may be aware, this issue has been caused by tension in the Red Sea, resulting in commercial ships from Asia to Europe taking longer routes, circumnavigating Africa.![]()
